Plot

Aboard this airborne behemoth is Alek, a young and exiled Hungarian prince whose royal lineage makes him both a target and a symbol in the shifting tides of political power. Stripped of his homeland, he hides behind forged papers and false allegiances, carrying with him the burden of a collapsing empire and the fear of assassination with every breath.
Then there is Deryn Sharp—a fiercely independent girl disguised as a boy to serve in the British Air Service.
