Little Dixie OTT Release Date: Know when and where to watch this Frank Grillo-starrer action-crime thriller

New Delhi: Presented in US theatres in early February 2023, Little Dixie is an action-packed crime thriller directed by John Swab. It had its world debut at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in January 2023. Frank Grillo, who portrays the leading character, a former Special Forces agent, is one of several performers who have starred in Swab’s film.

After having its first release in theatres in the United States, Little Dixie has been given a release date of December 28 on OTT. Together with Frank Grillo, the John Swab-helmed film has an impressive ensemble cast that includes Eric Dane, Beau Knapp, and Annabeth Gish as the film’s leading protagonists. Peter Greene is yet another well-known actor who will be appearing in Little Dixie.

Plot

When a deal between a corrupt governor and a vicious drug lord goes bad, Doc, a former Special Forces agent, finds himself in the middle of the conflict. As Oklahoma Governor Richard Jeffs watches television celebrating the execution of a high-ranking cartel member, his chief of staff and Doc Alexander notify him that the peace has been broken. Unfortunately, it is too late now that the cartel’s hatchet man, Cuco, has set his merciless eyes on Dixie, Doc’s daughter.

After his family is threatened, Doc is left with little choice but to eliminate the Mexican drug gang and ensure the safety of his young daughter, no matter the cost.

The OTT premiere of the action-packed revenge thriller drama developed in the United States is now scheduled to take place on Netflix on December 28, 2023.

The writer and director are both John Swab. Frank Grillo who played the lead character Doc, previously collaborated with John Swab and had starring parts in two of Swab’s most recent films, Body Brokers and Ida Red. Governor Richard Jeffs is portrayed by Eric Dane, while Raphael “Cuco” Prado, the cartel chief, is played by Beau Knapp.

December 2022 saw the debut of the film’s promotional materials, and January 28, 2023, was the film’s world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. The film premiered in limited theatres throughout the United States on February 3, 2023.
