Matsyagandha OTT Release Date: The official digital streaming date of Pruthvi Ambaar’s cop-drama is finally out. A few days back, the makers of the Kannada movie officially announced that Matsyagandha will make its much-awaited OTT debut on Chinebaazar and now, they have also unveiled to exact date when the Deevraj Poojary directorial flick will arrive on the streaming platform. Matsyagandha to land on OTT
TVOD platform Cinebaazar will roll out Matsyagandha for the fans on September 20th, 2024. However, watching the movie online will not be free of cost as viewers will be required to make a small payment of Rs 49 in order to access it on the digital platform.
Nevertheless, considering the Box office debacle of the Pruthvi starrer movie, it will be interesting to see how the audiences react when it finally lands on OTT.
Plot
Param, a dedicated cop is deployed at Tonka Police Station and is quite fed up with his monotonous life in the silent town. The guy is desperate to find a way to grow in career by doing something big in his life.
One day, destiny finally listens to Param and he gets a chance to shine like a star after discovering and exposing a major drug smuggling racket that was being carried out in the area by individuals disguised as fisherfolks.
However, just when the cop was starting to think about the praises and promotions he would receive after bursting the drug operations, the consignment of drugs, which he recovered from the accused disappears without a trace, leaving him cursing his stars.
What happens next and how Param is compelled to take assistance from a local gangster to find out the mastermind behind the drug racket in Tonka is the remaining story of the film.

Matsyagandha, in its star cast, sees several actors including Shilpa Acharya, Mime Ramdas, Sharath Lohitashwa, Anjali Pandey, P.D. Sathish Chandra, and Nagaraj Byndoo in key roles. The movie is bankrolled by B S Vishwanath under the banner of Sahyadri Productions.
