New Delhi: When someone’s disinterest in you only pushes you to try to get them to pursue you turns into you inevitably falling in love with that person- how will that turn out to be?

This is the exact plot of another spectacular and oncoming rom-com anime titled “Medaka Kuroiwa is Impervious to My Charms’, where trying to get someone’s notice might just lead one into a love jeopardy they may or may not want.

Having been collected in 16 volumes so far, with anime and manga fans alike swooning for the sweet romantic plot laced in carefully topped hints of comedy, the manga series began its serialization in May 2021, and is fully set on releasing its anime release next year in January.

Plot

No one can resist Mona Kawai- it’s a part of her charm. Boys, even girls alike can’t do anything but swoon over her, one glance from her eyes or one smile on her lips that is directed at them, and their hearts start pacing.

She’s simply irresistible and her cuteness is a factor she gladly exploits, taking in the attention shown on her so freely and willingly. However, a challenge arose when she came from Medaka Kuriowa.

The man is completely ignorant of her charms, even just of her existence. To anyone else, it may not be as much of a bothersome issue. However Mona- who’s known for simply being irresistible finds Medaka as a challenge.  Her streak of getting boys to fall for her shouldn’t end here.

Out of measure, Mona tries her last ultimate method. To any other, it turns into them foaming at the mouth just from her physical closeness. Yet it seems Medaka is resistant to even that. However, when the truth comes out, it’s shocking. Medaka is training to be a monk, strengthening his resolve against the charm of worldly pleasures. This is the reason why he has been ignorant of Mona.

However, in trying to get him to fall for her too, Mona might have fallen in love with him instead.
