New Delhi: A Japanese manga series centered around the themes of racing and the advanced ages was the first start of the famous anime series MF Ghost, which soon gained a massive fan following after the release of its first season aired in 2023, from October to December.
The anime is a prequel to the television anime series Initial D which first came out in the year 1998.
The second season is set to premiere in the fall season of 2024 on October 7th, after fans held bated breath for the release of a season 2 much after its success with its first season. The manga alone had its chapters collected in 20+ volumes as of June 2024.

Plot
The series takes place around the year 202X when cars with internal combustion cars were replaced by self-driving electric cars with the progress of modern technology and advancements in numerous fields. However, in Japan, there is a massive company, known as the MFG its founder Ryosuke Takashi does races with internal combustion cars, and originally belonged to the initial D series.
Kanata Rivington is a 19-year-old Japanese-British Young Man, a new rookie who had shown up racing in his Toyota 86, beating all of the new technologically advanced European top-tier cars such as Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, Ferrari 488 GTB, Lotus Exige, Alfa Romeo 4C and more such cars with numerous advancements that still fell in rank against his car.
Kanata can excel and win in these races solely after being trained by legendary downhill and rally racer Takumi Fujiwara, the protagonist of the Initial D series, at the Royal Donington Racing School in the UK and is a Formula 4 world champion. However, Kanata has only one motive: to find his long-lost father.
