New Delhi: My Military Valentine, an upcoming action-romance military Korean drama, will be available on Viki. The June 6th launch of the series, which stars Kim Min Seok and Nam Gyu Ri, will be on the streaming site.

A South Korean star Lloyd and a North Korean special forces soldier Baek Yeong Ok are the protagonists of this plot, which explores a strange love relationship between the two.

My Military Valentine is a new romantic comedy Korean series by Viki that follows the protagonists as they meet and fall in love. As per the trailer, the setting is based on a hypothetical world where North and South Korea are at peace, drawing inspiration from the ongoing tensions between the two countries.

Storyline

Peace on the Korean Peninsula has finally arrived, as seen in the series, after decades of conflict. Top South Korean artist Lloyd is scheduled to play at a concert near the DMZ to celebrate the new North-South Korean peace, but a misunderstanding prompts Baek Young Ok, a soldier from the North Korean special forces, to step in.

The public misinterprets the conversation between them as a loving moment since fans captured it. A controversy surfaces and Lloyd’s fans are furious about it. In a state of desperation, he enlists in the military, only to discover that he is immediately assigned to a unit that is commanded by Young Ok.

Cast and Crew

Kim Min Seok plays Lloyd, and Nam Gyu Ri plays Baek Young Ok – the two main leads, in the series. Choi Hye Jin, Song Jae Rim, Steve Noh, Jung Jin Woo, Han Seung Bin, Hong Seo Hee, Lee Jung Hyun, Kim Jung Young, and a plethora of additional actors and actresses round out the supporting cast.

Park Hyun Jin and Kwon Hee Kyung are responsible for writing the screenplay for the series, while Park Gwang Choon is the one in charge of directing the series.
