Plot
Featuring Vince Vaughn for the very first time in a Netflix original, Nonnas revolves around the true inspiring story of a unique Island restaurant named Enoteca Maria. This restaurant is a home for several old ladies hailing from diverse cultural backgrounds who work here together to prepare dilitiious traditional dishes. Joe Scaracella, the founder of Enoteca Maria, got the novel Idea of opening such a restaurant following the sad demise of his mother.
Cast and Production
The star-ensambled cast of Nonnas features several skilled actors essaying pivotal roles in the movie. Veteran actor Vince Vaughn portrays the role of the film’s male lead, Joe Scarvella, with Susan Sarandon also playing an equally important role in the comedy entertainer. In addition to these two, the upcoming Netflix original also sees a number of other talented artists like Lorraine Bracco, Brenda Vaccaro, and Joe Manganiello as key side characters.
Gigi Pritzker, in association with Rachel Shane and Jack Turner, has bankrolled the flick under the banner of Fifth Season, 1Community, Madison Wells and Matador Content.
