New Delhi: Returning for a second season is the comedy Not Dead Yet, developed by David Windsor and Casey Johnson. This is adapted from Alexandra Potter’s Confessions of a Forty-Something F**k Up.

On February 8, 2023, the TV series debuted. The second season, which aired on February 7, 2024, on ABC, was ordered by the network in May 2023. After just two seasons, the television series was discontinued in May 2024. Hulu will debut new episodes from Season 2 on June 12.

Not Dead Yet follows the story of Nell Serrano, a self-described chaos who is trying to start over after being newly single, in this comedy written by Casey Johnson and David Windsor.

Plot

A once-successful journalist named Nell puts her career on wait to assist her fiancé in starting a restaurant. Although it seemed like a setback at first, taking a job writing obituaries after her breakup may be the catalyst she needs to finally move on.

Season 1 concludes with Phillip, Nell’s ex-fiancé, visiting Pasadena, California. After Nell confides in Phillip about her paranormal experiences, Phillip advises that they end their relationship and that she should leave her work. Phillip ends his relationship with Nell.

Season 2 shows that Duncan begs Nell to write his final words and help him improve himself, but she discovers that he is trying to get Lexi to work more; Duncan himself has not changed. In the end, Sam and her husband Keith decide to part ways due to their marital problems. Edward and Lexi begin their formal courtship. Nell begins dating TJ after meeting him at work. However, TJ admits he has never wanted children, and the two decide to part up, remaining friends when Nell brings up the topic of having children and considers freezing her eggs.

While in the hospital, Duncan passes out from the stress of it all; yet, he also makes an appearance as Nell’s ghost. After much deliberation, Lexi chooses to acquire the business herself. Realizing that Lexi is an adult, Duncan begins to mend fences with her.
