OMG 2 Trailer OUT: How fans reacted to Akshay Kumar’s controversial film

New Delhi: There is a lot of excitement about the upcoming film starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi. It is a follow-up to ‘OMG – Oh My God,’ a smash success starring Akshay and Paresh Rawal from 2012. After an absence of eleven years, the film’s sequel will finally hit theatres on August 11. Ahead of the film release, today marks the huge debut of the OMG 2 trailer, featuring the talents of Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam.

With Nitin Desai’s unexpected death yesterday, the OMG 2 trailer was delayed till today out of respect for his memory. On the list of trailers for new movies, it was among the most eagerly awaited; and it has already created a huge buzz since its launch.

The movie’s trailer reveals that Tripathi’s character, Kanti, will engage in a difficult legal battle to ensure his son’s future. Yami Gautam will be featured in the role of an opposition attorney to Tripathi. While Akshay, in his role as Shiva, would assist Kanti on his perilous quest. A lawyer who seems to be on the school’s side is played by Yami Gautam. A compelling combination of comedy, spirituality, and social criticism is hinted at in the teaser for an upcoming film.
