New Delhi: July saw a lot of action, mystery and drama on OTT platforms. The last week of the month also offers thrilling dramas that will keep the viewers hooked on the screens. Various films and web series are going to release as the month of July comes to an end.
Here is the list of 5 films and web series releasing from July 25 to July 31:
1. Licorice Pizza
Director Paul Thomas Andersen’s last venture, Licorice Pizza, got a positive response from both audience and film critics last year. The film is making its OTT debut in the last week of July. ‘Licorice Pizza’ follows the story of Alana Kane and Gary Valentine growing up, running around and going through a false-hearted journey of first love in the San Fernando Valley in 1973.
The film, starring Alana Haim, Cooper Hoffman, Sean Penn and others, will stream on Amazon Prime Video from July 25 onwards.
2. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect
After immense appreciation from the audience and film critics, ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ is set to release on the OTT platform. The film is helmed by R. Madhavan, who also plays the protagonist in the film. The film is based on the life of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan.
Along with Madhavan, the film also stars Simran as Meena Narayanan, Gulshan Grover as Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and Rajit Kapoor as Dr Vikram Sarabhai. The film will release on Amazon Prime Video on July 26.
3. The Most Hated Man on the Internet
This documentary series follows Hunter Moore, the self-proclaimed “professional life ruiner.” The documentary follows the story of the woman who stood up to Hunter after photos of her naked daughter were posted online.
The series will stream on Netflix from July 27 onwards.
4. Keep Breathing
The mini-series is based on the theme of survival in extreme conditions. The show follows a woman, who after a small plane crash in the middle of the Canadian wilderness, must battle the odds to survive. The six-episode series stars Melissa Barrera, Florencia Lozano, Jeff Wilbusch and Joselyn Picard.
The series will release on July 28 on Netflix.
5. Rangbaaz (Season 3)
The series is based on the life of gangster Anandpal Singh, who rose to become the most wanted criminal in the history of Rajasthan. The show stars Jimmy Shergill, Jay Joshi, Saqib Saleem, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Gul Panag, Ravi Kishan and many other popular film stars.
Season 3 of the series will begin streaming on Zee5 from July 29 onwards.
