New Delhi: After two successful seasons of comedy-drama Panchayat, fans are eagerly waiting for the announcement of its third installment to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
At a time when OTT platforms are filled with A-rated shows full of nudity and abusive language, Panchayat entered the scene in 2020 as a breath of fresh air. The light comedy and Desi themes were able to connect with the hearts of the Indian masses.

Panchayat season 3
The comedy-drama by The Virat Fever TVF is coming to Amazon Prime Video soon. In its third season, there are going to be a total of 8 episodes, which will be approximately 45 mins long.
The earlier predictions were that the third installment will hit OTT in November-December of the year 2022. But there has been a significant delay since then.
As of now, the latest update is that Panchayat season 3 will most likely be released in April 2023.
Panchayat season 3 plot
Although there isn’t much information out there about the plot of this Indian comedy-drama, here is what you can expect to see in season three of Panchayat.
The story will be set freshly in the year 2022 around three panchayats – UP, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra.
Jitendra Kumar would be seen in the role of an engineering aspirant, Abhishek who works as a clerk in the Panchayat of Phulera village in Uttar Pradesh. Abhishek wants to rise to the post of the Panchayat secretary at any cost as he is unable to get any other job opportunity.
Cast
Just like earlier seasons, the third season will feature Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Prateek Pachauri, Pankaj Jha, and others in key roles.
