New Delhi: As South Indian web series are trending on OTT platforms, a new Tamil show ‘Paper Rocket’ is releasing on July 29. Helmed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, the series is a must-watch for people who love to travel.
The show revolves around six strangers who go on a road trip across Tamil Nadu to get closure on their personal challenges. On the trip, each one wants to fulfil a major wish on their bucket list. The matter of suspense is that will they be able to fulfil their wishes. The show stars Rahul Ramakrishna as Kalidas Jayaram and Avika Gor Tanya Ravichandran. Along with the lead cast, the series also features Vishwa Dev and Praneeta Patnaik.

The show was released on July 29 on the OTT platform Zee5. ‘Paper Rocket’ is available in two languages, namely, Tamil and Telugu. The music in the film is composed by Simon K. King, who is known for his work in ‘Sathya’ and ‘Kapatadhaari’, while Richard M Nathan & Gavemic U Ary handled the cinematography.
Talking about the film, the director Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi said, “Paper Rocket is special and close to my heart. This series involves some of the biggest names in the industry. I would like to thank ZEE5 for banking trust on ‘Paper Rocket’, and facilitating a wide release.” She added that the actors and technicians have elevated the script and also thanked Tapas Nayak for his work as a sound designer.
The trailer of the show was unveiled by Akkineni Nagarjuna and fans appreciated the trailer. The show has seven episodes and is a treat for binge watchers.
