New Delhi: After having a remarkable run at the BO, Mukesh and Innocent’s Malayalam family drama Philip’s is finally set to make its debut on the OTT platform.

During its theatrical run, the movie garnered a positive response from cine-goers who hailed it for numerous factors including brilliant storyline, captivating cinematography, and exceptional acting of its leading cast.

Now, the good news is that the fans who missed the chance to enjoy this humorous flick on the big screen will soon get to watch it on digital platforms.

Philip’s OTT Release:

The makers of the movie have officially disclosed that Philip will be streaming on Amazon Prime from January 19, 2024. besides that, the film will also be made available for watching on digital platforms Monorma Max & Simply South from the same day.

However, it is important to note here that to watch the Mukesh starter on OTT, one will need to have a subscription to the services of either of the three digital platforms.

Philip’s Story

Helmed by debutant director Alfred Kurian Joseph and jointly bankrolled by ace producers Suvin K. Varkey & Prasobh Krishna, Philip tells the tale of a widower Philip Abraham (Mukesh) who is struggling with several mental health issues like anxiety, overthinking & trust problems. As if this was already not enough, the guy is also sick of dealing with his young rebellious teenage daughter whose life choices always manage to irk him.

Meanwhile, Philip’s daughter doesn’t like her father either and is really unhappy with the methods of his typical parenting that have created a huge rift between the two.

With Mukesh and Innocent in the lead, Philip features an assembled cast of various seasoned actors including Noble Babu Thomas, Quinn Vipin, Charle, Asha Madathil, and Navani Devanand in pivotal roles. The film was released in the theaters under the banner of Little Big Films on 1 December.
