New Delhi: Rana Daggubati’s popular Netflix show ‘Rana Naidu’ is set to return for the second season. The makers shared a teaser and made the announcement for season 2 of the series. The show was a huge success and remained the most-watched series in India for three weeks after its release.
Netflix India shared a teaser which is a montage from the show with the track ‘Baap Aaya’ (Father has Come) playing in the background. The OTT platform has not yet announced the release date for the second installment.

The show is an Indian adaptation of Netflix’s Ray Donovan and was released on March 10. The web series follows Rana Naidu, who is a problem-solver for celebrities. The problems begin when Rana’s father is released from prison and his return marks the revelation of family secrets and conflicts. ‘Rana Naidu’ stars Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh Daggubati, Surveen Chawla, Abhishek Banerjee, Afrah Sayed, Sushant Singh and others.
The action-thriller is directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Varma while the music in the show is composed by Sangeet and Siddharth Haldipur.
The show, revolving majorly around the father-son conflict, showed scandals, violence, sexual innuendos and crude language. While people loved it and found the show authentic, there was also a section of the audience who found it to be vulgar. However, from cracking action, and high-stake conflict to impressive performances, this show has it all.
