SHIROHIYO- Reincarnated as a Neglected Noble OTT Release: Anime lovers, get ready to dive into an emotional fantasy journey filled with heartbreak, redemption, and magic!
SHIROHIYO – Reincarnated as a Neglected Noble has officially made its debut on streaming platforms, bringing a fresh twist to the reincarnation genre that fans won’t want to miss.
This anime series was all set to be available for streaming on Crunchyroll from the 20th of April, 2025.
Plot
Ageha is the eldest son of a powerful count in a morally decaying empire where status is everything, and familial love is often a facade. He is also obese, constantly ridiculed and dismissed by his peers and even members of his own household. Despite being the heir by birthright, Ageha is treated with disdain, made worse by his quiet demeanor and appearance. However, behind those young eyes lies the soul of someone far older—someone who sees the rot within this aristocratic world for what it is.
Ageha’s life changes dramatically when he meets Regulus, his younger half-brother. Regulus is beautiful, intelligent, and favored by the family—everything Ageha is not. But Ageha, with the wisdom of his past life and clarity beyond his years, doesn’t feel jealousy. Instead, he stumbles upon a chilling revelation: in the future, Regulus will grow up to murder Ageha in a violent clash over inheritance rights.
Faced with the knowledge of his own grim fate, Ageha doesn’t lash out or scheme for survival. He chooses a path that is quietly heroic—to change the future not through violence or manipulation, but through compassion. He resolves to raise Regulus with love, guiding him away from the bloodshed their world expects of them. It’s a deeply emotional decision, steeped in tragedy and quiet defiance.
Ageha’s journey is not about physical battles or flashy magic. It’s about emotional endurance in a world that thrives on cruelty. As he faces neglect, mockery, and the weight of knowing his future demise, Ageha still chooses to be the older brother Regulus needs, not the rival society demands.
What makes SHIROHIYO stand out is its heartbreaking intimacy—the bond between siblings forged under the shadow of inevitable betrayal, and a protagonist who dares to love in a world that never loved him back.
