New Delhi: On the third death anniversary of mother Sridevi, Janhvi Kapoor shared a handwritten note on Instagram with a simple caption “Miss u.”

Apparently, the note seems to be written by Sridevi herself for Janhvi. In the note it reads, “I love you my labbu. You are the best baby in the world.”

Alongside father Boney Kapoor, Janhvi and sister Khushi Kapoor reportedly performed a puja in honour of Sridevi in Chennai on Tuesday. Sridevi passed away in Dubai in 2018 due to accidental drowning.

Janhvi and Khushi were seen at Mumbai airport on Monday. Both the sister was heading to Chennai, where the puja is conducted every year at Sridevi’s house. Khushi was not able to attend the puja in 2020, as she was in her college in the United States.

Last year in the lockdown period, Janhvi had shared about missing her mother on social media. “I’ve learnt that I can still smell my mother in her dressing room,” she captioned.

“You know at the end of the day, we have the same blood in us. I don’t remember anything of those four months but I do remember that one day when we were sitting in bhaiya’s room and Arjun bhaiya and Anshula didi came in, I think that was the one day when I felt like, ‘Ok maybe we might be okay’,” Janhvi stated in an interview with Filmfare in 2019.
