New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra is set to entertain views in his next film — Mission Majnu. On Tuesday, Malhotra took to his social media accounts to share the first look from the film with his fans. Notably, the movie is scheduled to release on January 20, 2023 on the OTT platform, Netflix.

Sharing the poster, Sidharth wrote, ”Ek Jaanbaaz agent ki ansuni kahaani. Mission Majnu.” He also revealed the date to watch the flick on Netflix. Sidharth used three hashtags in his post — #MissionMajnu #DeshKeLiyeMajnu #NetflixIndia.”
The upcoming film is directed by Shantanu Bagchi and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and two others. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra in the pivotal role opposite Rashmika Mandanna.
In the film, one will also see Kumud Mishra, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Mir Sarwar, and Zakir Hussain.
Earlier, it was decided that the film would be released in theatres on May 13, 2022. Finally, the makers sold the distribution right to Netflix.
Talking about his role, Sidharth said in an interview that he is quite excited to play spy as he would be playing the role first time in his life. ”With Netflix on board, I am confident that this incredible narrative with resonate with people all around the world,” added Sidharth.
The shooting for the film begins in February 2021 at Lucknow and completed in time in the month of September 2021.
