The Sleeping Dog OTT Release Date: After delivering many blockbusters, the legendary Hollywood actor Russell Crowe is back to woo the hearts of his fans with his upcoming murder mystery ‘ Sleeping Dogs’.

The thriller crime drama will Premiere on 2nd August and the audience can start streaming it on Lionsgate Play. The murder mystery is based on the aclaimed novel ‘ The Book of Mirrors’.

Plot  

The story of Russell Crowe’s murder mystery revolves around the life of a detective Roy Freeman played by the actor Russell Crowe himself. The detective is suffering from a memory loss and faces serious challenges when he has to solve a murder case.

He is however advised by his doctor that he suffers from memory loss and he needs to keep himself busy. Roy Freeman starts investigating the hidden truths of the case but he has to be fast as time is running out for the convict.

The film further takes many interesting twists and turns when the detective starts investigating the case and finds out shocking facts as the case unfolds.

Cast and Production 

The Murder Mustery is directed by Adam Cooper and Russell Crowe is playing the main character in the film. The remaining star cast includes Marton Csokas as Dr Joseph Wieder, Karen Gillan as Laura Baines, Tommy Flanagan as Jimmy Remis, Thomas M Wright as Wayne Devereaux, Harry Greenwood as Richard Finn.
