Plot
In a tale of ambition, power, and ethical gray zones, Dora López—a driven and dedicated teacher with years of experience—sets her sights on a single, life-defining goal: becoming the principal of one of the most prestigious schools in Jalisco. Despite her strong credentials and unwavering commitment to education, Dora has long been overlooked, dismissed by decision-makers who favor influence over merit. Tired of waiting for her shot, she is determined to seize the opportunity when it finally presents itself.
But fate doesn’t make things easy.
Her dreams are suddenly thrown into jeopardy when a seemingly ordinary playground scuffle between two students spirals into a public scandal. The twist? The children involved belong to two of the most influential and rivaling families in the state. What begins as a disciplinary issue quickly escalates into a political firestorm, threatening not only the school’s reputation but also Dora’s carefully plotted path to leadership.
As Dora finds herself at the center of this unfolding crisis, she realizes that her response could make—or break—her career. With the school’s board and powerful figures watching closely, she faces a difficult choice: play by the book and risk being sidelined once again, or manipulate the situation to her advantage, even if it means compromising the very principles that made her an educator in the first place.
Crafted by Manolo Caro, the visionary behind The House of Flowers, this compelling drama promises sharp storytelling, complex characters, and an unflinching look at the price of ambition. Set against the backdrop of social privilege, educational politics, and personal integrity, the series asks a provocative question: how far would you go to achieve your dream?
