Supacell OTT Release Date: Later, it was confirmed that all six episodes are scheduled to be released across the world on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

New Delhi: Following several noteworthy releases, there is now another series on Netflix that is worth getting excited about, and that is Supacell.

Following a group of regular individuals from South London who suddenly realize they are anything but ordinary when they unexpectedly obtain superpowers, the six-part science fiction drama that was created by Rapman, who was also the creator of Blue Story, follows the story.

On June 27, Netflix is going to start streaming its brand-new British production – Supacell. This new series, which is about a group of Black people who have superpowers, is being developed by the streamer in collaboration with Rapman.

Plot

Suddenly, a group of seemingly ordinary Black individuals from South London begin to exhibit extraordinary new abilities. Amidst the repercussions, a man must unite them to save the one he loves, all the while dodging the evil agents who have taken note of their extraordinary talents.

At the beginning of March, the first teaser for the series was released, and now we get our first glimpse at the storyline, which has Michael attempting to rescue his love, Dionne, by using his newly discovered abilities.

When and Where to Watch?

There are going to be six episodes of Supacell on Netflix. Every one of them will have a duration of sixty minutes.

During the Next on Netflix UK event, it was disclosed that the release of Supacell will take place in June 2024. Later, it was confirmed that all six episodes are scheduled to be released across the world on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

Cast and Crew

A long list of actors and actresses, including Michael Salami (Gabriel), Eddie Marsan (Ray), Adelayo Adedayo (Dionne), Destiny Viva (Sister), Travis Jay (John), Ky-Mani Carty (AJ), Andy Thompson (Twosie), Rayxia Ojo (Shelleen), and many more, have joined the cast of Supacell.

Rapman (Andrew Onwubolu) is the man behind the camera and writer for the upcoming six-part series. Along with associate producer Henrietta Lee and Mouktar Mohammed, Rapman is also producing the series.
