New Delhi: Hansal Mehta’s upcoming biopic on Manmohan Singh ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ is making waves. With each photo from the upcoming film being shared on social media, it creates a big buzz.
Not much before, first look of actor Anupam Kher from the political movie was shared. He will be portraying the role of former PM Manmohan Singh.
The latest piece from the film is German actress Suzanne Bernert portraying Sonia Gandhi and apparently rehearsing a dialogue for the movie.

German actress Suzanne Bernert is playing the role of former Congress president Sonia Gandhi in the upcoming political movie The Accidental Prime Minister.
Film based on Sanjay Baru’s book
The movie is based on Sanjay Baru’s book of the same name, ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’.
Married to actor Akhil Mishra, Ms Bernert has acted in a number of Indian films and TV shows in various languages. The 35-year-old speaks Bengali, Marathi and Hindi fluently and is an expert Lavani dancer.
Directed by Vijay Gutte, The Accidental Prime Minister also stars Akshaye Khanna and is slated to release on December 21.
Suzanne played Sonia in TV series – Pradhamanntri
Interestingly, this isn’t Suzanne’s first time playing the matriarch of the Congress party. Suzanne acted as Sonia in a television series Pradhamanntri, a semi-fictionalised account of Indian politics, helmed by Shekhar Kapoor.
The German-born actress has worked in several Indian television shows and films. She has worked for a mix of various Indian languages.
Suzanne has also been a part of many other Indian films in Hindi, Marathi and Bengali, as well as Indian serials. She has played Paresh Rawal’s wife in the Anees Bazmi directed 2010 comedy No Problem.
