Sweet Home 2 Review: The horrific monster drama sees Song Kang continuing his war for humanity

New Delhi: As mankind faces a harsh reality check among the post-apocalyptic horrors, Song Kang and the Sweet Home characters are back for an even fiercer struggle for survival in Season 2.

There will be even more chaos, tragedy, and suffering in Sweet Home 2, as well as a relentless struggle for human survival in the face of monsters. Today, December 01, the horror K-drama debuted on Netflix (the first 3 episodes are out now).

Plot

After Season 1 ends with Song Kang’s Cha Hyun Soo capitulating to the military after being surrounded in the Green Home Apartment, the drama picks up where it left off. In the second season, Cha Hyun Soo, and the other tenants of Green Home Apartments battle monsters before venturing out into the world. People from all across the globe who have survived the tragedy gather at a baseball stadium. When they go outdoors, they face danger from both people and monsters.

Review

The characters will face unimaginably difficult challenges in the even more chaotic environment beyond the Green Home apartments.

Sweet Home 2 begins with a complete change in Cha Hyun Soo’s perspective on the monsters, in contrast to the previous season.

Song Kang as Cha Hyun Soo is fiercer than ever. Lee Si Young was a standout as a special agent this time. Go Min Si is noted for her expressive performance, and she again embodied her perplexed and worried character.

Actor Oh Jung Se makes his Sweet Home season 2 debut as Dr Lim. Jung Se convincingly portrays a crazy scientist who views the end of the world as an opportunity.

Also, we get closer to the beginning of the ‘disease’ and likely government propaganda with the addition of the experiment arm to the scenario. In times of intense strain, it is thrilling to make new friends and enemies.

Using flashbacks, the tale can weave together different events, and uncover and bring back situations that fans of the show will undoubtedly find incredible.

The apocalyptic horror Korean drama Sweet Home continues to amaze with each new episode in Season 2.

The sudden shift in the characters’ environments, however, can keep the viewers in confusion at first as there isn’t always enough space for a thorough, in-depth description of the backdrop.

In sum, seeing Sweet Home 2 is satisfying.
