The Akaali OTT Release Date: Featuring renowned actor Nassar in the lead role, Mohamed Asif Hameed’s latest Tamil actioner film titled The Akaali will soon be available to watch on OTT.
Earlier in May 2024, the movie arrived on the big screen, receiving mixed responses from the public. Nonetheless, with its digital premiere date finally out, it will be notable to see how the Tamil entertainer fairs with the OTTians.
The Akaali OTT Release Date & Platform
According to the latest reports, The Akaali is set to make its OTT debut on the popular South Indian digital platform Aha Tamil. From July 19th, 2024, the movie will start streaming on the digital platform, allowing fans to enjoy it comfortably from their homes.
However, those willing to watch the Jayakumar Janakiraman starrer on Aha will be required to purchase or own a premium subscription to the platform’s services.
The Akaali Movie Plot
Written by Mohamed Asif Hameed, the plot of The Akaali narrates the tale of a freshly appointed Investigation Officer (I.O) Sowmya ( Swayam Siddha) who is determined to solve a 7-year-old case involving the gruesome killing of innocent ladies in the name of sacrifice by a ruthless occult group.
The movie shows how with the help of a former policeman, the officer gets into a head-on brawl with occult practitioners & makes them pay for the crimes committed by them in the past.
Cast and Production
Besides the NOTA fame actor Nassar, The Akaali, in its star cast, also features Thalaivasal Vijay, Vinoth Kishan, and Arjai amongst others in key roles. It is produced by Ukeshvaraan Prabhu under the banner of PBS Productions.
