Plot
The romantic film revolves around the theme of how music and memories can take us somewhere, sometimes.
The Greatest Hits delves deeply into the experience of loss, the passing of a lifelong companion. After a career as a music producer, Harriet became a librarian. She and her late partner Max had a passion for listening to vinyl recordings. A tragic car accident stole Max from Harriet, who had hoped they would spend the rest of eternity together.
Even after all this time has passed, Harriet is still finding it difficult to forget the loss of Max. Still, every time she plays the albums she listened to with him, she finds a strange event. She becomes more in love with Max than ever before when she visits him in the past, reliving his life as if he were still here. These time-travel experiences can hold the faintest possibility of rescuing Max.
Things start to turn around, however, when Harriet meets paths with David, an old friend from group therapy.
