The Indian comedy film The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh was earlier announced in 2023 and is based on the real-life experiences of award-winning creator Vijal.
Plot
The story of the film revolves around a family who has moved to America from India. The husband-wife and their children. The Makers also shared the trailer of the film and it begins with a family sitting in a car that is hit by a truck
This is the family narrating the incident that once happened. The wife seems to be telling a person on the board that their family met with a serious accident but fortunately, they survived.
One of the women on the board tells the woman to start telling them from the beginning. She starts telling her that they arrived in St Pittsburgh two years ago. The family has Sudha, Bhanu, Mahesh, and Vinod.
The family is then seen sitting in a car and heading home after being given a heads-up by the customs authorities. The Pradeeps are welcomed by their neighbors with mixed reactions
The film then takes many twists and turns and is full of many emotions, comedy, and drama. The father witnesses his son watching some porn on his computer and he gets shocked after seeing his father.
The family decided to move back to India but unfortunately, they were denied permission. However, after many struggles and challenges, the family members decide to stay back and face everything together.
Star Cast and Production
The star cast features Megan Hilty, Ethan Suplee, Nicholas Hamilton, Pete Holmes, and Romy Rosemont in pivotal roles and is directed by Vijal Patel.
