Plot

The story revolves around Tarini Ranjan Bandopadhyay. He is an eccentric and aging storyteller who has recently retired from his job as an accountant. Tarini has a unique skill for crafting imaginative and captivating tales, which he often shares with those around him. However, his life takes an intriguing turn when he meets Rajasen Gupta.

Rajasen is a wealthy businessman dealing with insomnia and existential dissatisfaction. Rajasen is unable to sleep due to his inner turmoil and the monotony of his life.

He decides to hire Tarini to narrate stories in an attempt to find solace and escape. He believes that Tarini’s tales may offer him a distraction and, perhaps, a solution to his sleeplessness.

As Tarini begins to weave his tales, the audience is taken on a journey through his vivid imagination. Each story he tells serves as a reflection of deeper truths. This addresses universal themes such as morality, deception, greed, and the complexities of human relationships.

As the storytelling sessions continue, Rajasen begins to notice parallels between Tarini’s tales and his own life. The stories reveal hidden layers of his personality, his past decisions, and his relationships.

It becomes apparent that Tarini’s stories are more than mere entertainment—they are subtly exposing truths that Rajasen has been reluctant to confront.

The lines between fiction and reality begin to blur. Rajasen questions whether Tarini knows more about his life than he initially let on. Is Tarini merely a storyteller, or does he have a deeper connection to Rajasen’s life? This question forms the crux of the narrative.
