Thiru.Manickam OTT Release Date: Nandha Periyasamy’s Tami drama Thiru.Manickam hit the big screens on December 27th, 2024. However, failing to live up to its makers’ expectations, the Samuthirakani and Ananya starrer film didn’t fare well with the cinegoers & received only a moderate reception from cinegoers, eventually ending its Box office run with a lukewarm collection from the ticket windows. Now, it is all set to test its luck on the digital screens by arriving on an OTT platform in the coming days.

According to the latest reports Thiru.Manikam will soon make its digital premiere on Zee5, which has purchased the film’s streaming rights for a modest amount of money.
From January 31, 2025 onwards, the family drama is scheduled to become available for watching online, allowing the viewers to watch it right from the comfort of their homes. It will now be interesting to see if the flick manages to resonate with the audiences on the digital screens in the days to come.
Plot of the Movie
Thiru.Manickam tells the tale of a family man named Manickam who runs a lottery ticket shop. One day, an aged man comes to his shop and walks away with a couple of lottery tickets, promising that he will return them in a while to pay for them. However, the guy never comes back, leaving Manckam confused and frustrated.
Later, one of the tickets that the old man took away with him ends up winning a bumper prize money, triggering a series of events that compels Manickam to make multiple hard choices. What happens next & how he deals with the challenges is the remaining story of the film.
