Transmitzvah OTT Release: The Spanish Comedy Drama ‘Transmitzvah’ is all set to premiere on Netflix on 22nd November 2024. The film was also shown at the Cannes Film Festival.
Plot
The story of the Spanish Drama follows the life and the love story between siblings. It is about a famous Yeddish Singer who returns back to her hometown after a long time and gets emotional after seeing her neighbourhood, and her house
She returna back to be with her family and her siblings and recalls each and every moment she spent there when she was child. How she used to play with her siblings, how they used to go to school
How their mother used to cook their favourite breakfast for them and her friends in the neighbourhood. All the siblings are grown ups now and have pursued different careers.
However, things take a dramatic turn when of the siblings lose its voice during a tragedy.The film also throws light on the love between siblings, and how their bond stays strong even after many years.
The Yeddish Singer visits her hometown after a span of 20 years and wanted to meet all the members in her family whom she left behind when she decided to become a singer.
Cast and Production
The film is directed by Daniel Burman, the director was first noticed for his work in the film ‘Lost Embrace’. He also produced a series for Prime Video called ‘The Regretful Spy’ and ‘Yosi.
