Vaazhai OTT Release: Filmmaker Mari Selvaraj recently treated the cinephiles with a hard-hitting drama film titled Vaazhai.
Boasting Ponvel M and Raghu R in key roles, the Tamil entertainer graced the theaters on August 23 2024 & ever since then, it has been enjoying a dream run at the Box Office.
Made with a small budget of Rs 5 crore, the film, within a week, has already amassed an impressive figure of Rs 17 crore from the ticket windows and is garnering acclaim for its engaging storyline & beautifully presented characters.

Plot
Set in the rural area of Karungulam, Vaazai tells the tale of a 12-year-old boy Sivandhan, and his friend group who all work hard to make ends meet and support their respective families.
During the weekdays, the teenagers go to school like any other child but on the weekends, they sweat it out at a banana plantation where they are employed as laborers.
The film focuses on the friend group’s unity that only grows stronger in difficult times, giving viewers an insight into their challenging lives.
