Veteran Actor Krishna G Rao dies, he was known for his role in KGF; fans pour in their condolences

New Delhi: Veteran Kannada Actor Krishna G Rao who was known for his role as a visually impaired person in KGF has passed away at the age of 70. If reports are to be believed, he was suffering from age-related issues for the past few weeks. He succumbed to illness on Wednesday at a private hospital in Bangalore.

KG Rao was admitted to the hospital on 2nd December after he complained of breathing difficulties. He was being treated for lung infection in the hospital.

The news of his death was shared on the official handle of The KGF Movie. While announcing his sad demise the production house wrote “Condolences from Hombale film team on the passing away of Krishna G Rao, fondly known as Tata by KGF fans. Om Shanti.”

Rao has been an eminent name in Kannada film industry for several years. Moreover, post his role in KGF, Rao has been a part of 30 more films. His last appearance on screen will be in Nano Narayanappa.

Krishna G Rao’s fans have joined the mourning and many of his fans and netizens have expressed condolences over his sad demise. A twitter user wrote “May his soul rest in peace” and some of them even couldn’t believe his sudden demise.
