Vidaamuyarchi OTT release date: Veteran star Ajith Kumar joined forces with diva Trisha Krishnan in his latest action movie Vidaamuyarchi.
Written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the Tamil entertainer graced the big screens on 6 February 2025 & witnessed a breathtaking opening on the ticket windows, becoming the most successful Tamil opener of 2025. However, in a surprising turn of events, the movie’s collection nosedived right after its first weekend & continued to decline with each passing day.
Currently, though the action thrillers’ gross Box office figure stands at a decent 135 crore, it still needs to go a long way in order to be called a hit considering its massive estimated budget of Rs 185 crores.

According to the latest reports, Vidaamuyarchi will make its digital debut on Netflix following the conclusion of its journey at the Box Office. This means that very soon, the fans will get to enjoy the Tamil movie right from the comfort of their homes. However, one may note here that no exact date of the film’s premiere has been officially announced by the makers as of now.
Plot of the film
Vidaamuyarchi tells the tale of a married couple Arjun and Kayal whose car gets wrecked in the middle of an isolated road. In order to get help, Kayal seeks the help of a lorry driver and ends up getting abducted. What happens next and how Arjun goes against all the odds to save his wife is unveiled in the rest of the movie.

In addition to Trisha and Ajith, Vidaamuyarchi stars several other actors including Regina Cassandra, Arjun Sarja, and Arav in important roles. Subaskaran Allirajah has bankrolled the film under the banner of Lyca Productions.
