Vivek Agnihotri’s criticism of Besharam Rang backfires, daughter Mallika’s pics in orange bikini go viral

New Delhi: Jumping on Shahrukh-Deepika’s Besharam Rang controversy backfired for director Vivek Agnihotri. ‘The Kashmir Files’ director called for trouble recently when he posted a video of a young girl speaking against skimpy clothes and vulgar shots in the movie industry. Vivek Agnihotri edited the video in a split screen with Besharam rang’s music video playing on the top.

He captioned his post, ” Seculars do not watch” and wrote a warning- ‘video against Bollywood’.

Take a look at the video below:

But netizens were having none of his criticisms and dug up his controversial past to point out his hypocritical stance.

People shared posters of his 2012 film Hate story and reminded him of how he told people to celebrate such erotica. His replies were shortly flooded by posters of his previous movies.

Some users targeted his daughter Mallika Agnihotri and shared pictures from her vacation where she can be seen wearing an orange bikini.

It is noteworthy that most of the controversy surrounding the Pathaan movie’s song Besharam Rang was around Deepika Padukone’s “Bhagwa Bikini” in the music video.

A user quoted his tweet with pictures of his daughter in a two-piece and said “don’t throw stones at others when you live in a house made of glass.”

Since the little girl in Vivek Agnihotri’s video talked about rampant ‘disrespect of women’s bodies,’ people also brought up Vivek Agnihotri’s offensive tweets.
