Waack Girls OTT Release: The upcoming Television show ‘Waack Girls’ is all set to premiere on 22nd November on Prime Video. The 9 episode series is inspired by one of the actors in ‘Yeh Ballet’ Mekhola Bose.

About the Show: ‘Waack Girls’ 

The story of the show follows the life of a group of women who form a group and name it as ‘Waack Girls’. The show throws light on the life of Lopa, Ishani and 4 other women who are a part of the group.

Lopa is a lesbian and hails from a well-off family and she also struggles with her father who doesn’t want her to be a part of some dance group. The show also reflects how all these women face issues in their lives apart from following their dancing dream.

Anumita who is a gymnast wants to follow her dancing passion but is always threatened by her father not to think of dancing. The other woman Michke has a mother who also has a lot of issues and she has to deal with that shit.

Ishani is most of the time worried about her ailing grandfather. Despite of all these personal problems, all these women want to pursue their dream of dancing and make their group a success.

However, these women and their group face a lot of other issues including funds, members, promotions etc. They try to hard not to lose their members, but there are some who desperately need money.

And the moment they get to know they won’t be paid for their dancing performance, they decide to leave.
