Weapon OTT Release Date: The digital debut date of Sathyaraj’s latest Tamil thriller Weapon is finally out. Taking to social media platforms, the flicker’s streaming partner, Aha Tamil has officially unveiled the deets about the movie’s OTT premiere, triggering a wave of excitement amongst the fans.
When and where to watch Weapon on OTT
As confirmed with an official Instagram post shared on July 23rd 2-024, Werapon will start streaming on Aha from July 26 onwards, allowing the masses to enjoy it from the comfort of their home.
However, it will be not with a subscription to Aha Video’s services that one will get access to this promising movie on the streaming platform.
Plot
Penned by Guhan Sennippan, Weapon follows an ambitious Youtuvber & environmentalist Agni (Vasanth Ravi) who is determined to find people with superhuman capabilities.
One day, he sees footage featuring a guy effortlessly surviving an intense truck collision and gets extremely intrigued to find out more about him.
However, Agni, in a quest to meet the guy & convince him to feature on his YouTube channel, ends up crossing paths with a secret society named Black Society 9 that indulges in activities related to human sacrifice.
What happens next? How the leader of the society become a looming threat to Agni’s life? And how Agni deals with his warth is the film’s rest of the story.

Directed by Guhan Sennippan, Weapon, in its cast sees Sathyaraj and Vasanth Ravi in key roles. Furthermore, the movie also stars actors including Rajeev Menon, Tanya Hope, Rajeev Pillai, and AK Mydeen in other supporting roles.
M S. Manzoor, meanwhile, is the film’s producer who has backed it with the banner of Million Studio.
