New Delhi: Bigg Boss 2 OTT2 winner Elvish Yadav is grabbing all the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The Youtuber was arrested by Noida Police yesterday in connection with the snake venom case. The Bigg Boss 2 OTT winner has been in news headlines for many reasons in the past. He is not only accused of supplying snake venom in Rave Parties but also accused of thrashing another Youtuber Maxtern.

Why is Elvish Yadav facing the heat and what are the charges against him?  

Elvish Yadav is charged with Protection of wild life Protection Act and IPC section 120A. Police recovered nine snakes, 5 cobra’s from his house. Police also said that none of the snake had venom glands when they were recovered. Apart from this, Police also recovered 20ml of snake venom from them. Police was alerted by the People for Animals. He is also accused of featuring in a video where a rare breed of snakes was used. As the snake venom controversy was still on, the Youtuber was accused of manhandling another Youtuber. He told police that Elvish threatened him of breaking his spine.

 

What is the Snake Venom Case?

An NGO run by Maneka Gandhi ‘People for Animals’ filed a complaint against him of supplying Venom in Rave Parties causing harm to the animals.

He was booked by Noida Police last year under the wild life protection act for providing venom for fun in Rave Parties in Noida’s sector-51.

Police also found snakes from his possession and when confronted, Elvish allegedly mentioned the name of a Bollywood Singer.
