New Delhi: Leaving her husband, family, and friends in sorrow and shock, renowned food blogger and popular social media icon Natasha Diddee, better known as ‘The Gutless Foodie’ died due to dumping syndrome at 50 on March 24, 2024
Breaking the news of her sad untimely demise, her spouse Bengt Johnson, On Tuesday, took to his official Instagram handle and announced that his love has love-lady, who was surviving without a stomach for over a decade, has passed away.
Johnson’s post read”It is with great pain and sorrow that I am forced to announce the sad and heartbreaking passing of my wife Natasha Diddee, aka The Gutless Foodie. We lost her in the early morning of March 24th, 2024 in Pune, India.”
While sharing the news of Natasha’s departure from life on social media, the guy also made it clear that her flood blogging page @thegutlessfoode will not be discontinued as it serves as inspiration for many of her fans who often visit the page to watch her entertaining videos and delicious recipes.

Left in disbelief at Natasha’s sudden demise, many of her fans and followers quickly took to the comment box & wrote heartfelt messages for the late food blogger and her family.

Who was Natasha Diddee?
Hailing from Maharashtra’s Pune, Natasha was an acclaimed food blogger who enjoyed a decent fan base on social media. She used to stay active on her popular social media handle ‘The Gutless Foodie’ where she often kept sharing engaging videos of self-prepared tasty recipes with her followers.
Natasha Diddee’s Married Life
At the age of 22, Natasha exchanged wedding vows for the first time after which, she moved to Delhi & started a new life there. However, things soon started going south when her in-laws protested against her working as a chef & the same left her dejected for the next few years. Eventually, she got fed up with her unhappy married life and divorced her first husband to embark on a new beautiful journey.
Parting ways with her first husband, Natasha then started working in Bengaluru situated Swedish embassy where she crossed paths with Bengt Johansson who was working there as a trade commissioner. While working together, the two clicked almost instantly & eventually ended up developing feelings for each other. Later, they decided to make their relationship official and tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony before shifting back to Pune.
Natasha’s tragady
After about a year into her marriage with Johnson, Natasha’s life took another tragic turn when she started feeling sharp pain in her stomach while walking or doing other physical activities. As the discomfort also reached her shoulders, she underwent multiple shoulder surgeries and radiation treatment but to no avail as the pain continued to give her a hard time anyway.
Eventually, as she lost many pounds and almost stopped eating, a doctor finally diagnosed her condition by performing an hour-long surgery that left her without a stomach. She continued to live & enjoyed every moment for the next 12 years before eventually passing away at the age of 50 in March 2024.
