New Delhi: Model Sherlyn Chopra, who was apparently part of some ‘hot series’ recorded by Raj Kundra’s company in the pornography scandal, reacted strongly to latter’s wife and actor Shilpa Shetty’s statement.
Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty said that she was unaware of her husband Raj Kundra’s business activities as she was caught up with her work.
“Kundra started Viaan industries Limited in 2015 and I was one of the directors till 2020 when I resigned due to personal reasons. I am not aware about the Hotshots or Bollyfame apps. I was too busy with my own work and hence, not aware about what Kundra was up to,” Shilpa told Mumbai police in a statement.
Taking umbrage at the statement, Sherlyn Chopra took a dig at Shilpa by calling her ‘didi’ and expressed surprise how she wasn’t aware of nefarious activities of her husband.

In an Instagram video, Sherlyn said,” “According to some media reports, didi is saying that she wasn’t aware of the nefarious activities of her husband. Didi is also saying that she doesn’t about the movable and immovable assets of her husband. How true is this statement, you guys can understand youselves.”

Further she added, “Waise isey kya kehte hain? Yeda bankar, peda khana. Hai na?”
Earlier, Chopra stated to Mumbai Police that Raj Kundra and his company’s creative director asked her to work for “HotShots,” the mobile application. According to the chargesheet, Chopra was told that the HotShots app would possess extremely bold and hot videos. However, Chopra refused their proposal.
Businessman Raj Kundra was arrested in July 2021, for his alleged involvement with the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through various apps. Along with Kundra, Ryan Thorpe is currently in jail.
