Yintah OTT Release Date: Jennifer Wickham’s Canadian documentary film Yintah is just a few days away from making it to the digital screens.

Featuring Freda Huson amongst others in its stellar cast, the movie, on October 18th, 2024, will be released on Netflix, allowing viewers to access it hassle-free, right from the comfort of their homes.

Earlier on September 14th, 2024, the hard-hitting film was released at the prestigious Camden Film Festival where it received a rave reception from the audiences. Besides, it was also screened at the recently held Hawai’i International Film Festival.

About the Documentary Film 

Helmed by the talented trio of Jennifer Wickham, Brenda Michell, and Michael Toledano, Yintah, which translates to land in English, focuses on the duo of Howilhkat Freda Huson and Sleydo’ Molly Wickham who gives it all to fight for the sovereignty & freedom of  Wet’suwet’en First Nation.

The compelling plot of the movie tells a decade-long story of the struggle of the native Indigenous people of Canada who passionately safeguard their historical territory, heritage, lands & resources from a number of major fossil fuel corporations of the world.

Cast and Production

In its main cast, Yintah sees Freda Huson and Molly Wickham sharing the screen as the lead actors. It is produced by Brenda Michell, Bob Moore, Michael Toledano, and Jennifer Wickham under the banner of Yintah Film.
