Jan Aakrosh rally: Rahul slams Modi govt, says Congress will win in 2019 (VIDEO)
New Delhi: Congress President Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Modi government at the Jan Aakrosh rally and dubbed it as ‘Jan Virodhi’ government. Congress will win 2019 elections, declared Rahul at the public rally.
At the Jan Aakrosh rally, Rahul predicted Congress victory in upcoming assembly elections and also the next Lok Sabha elections, inviting all like-minded parties to join hands with Congress.
Rahul was addressing the first public gathering in the capital today, after assuming the party’s top post.
Rahul hit out at PM Modi for “spreading lies” about the Congress to divert attention from the many failures of his own government.
“When PM Modi speaks, people have to search hard for shreds of truth within his speeches,” Rahul said, taking a jibe at PM Modi.
Hard to find truth in PM’s words, says Rahul

Nation going through turbulent times, says Sonia
“The Modi government is muzzling dissenting voices, weakening institutions, dividing communities eyeing poll gains,” Sonia said at the rally.
“It is saddening to see that our society is suffering from unprecedented violence and hatred today. People from every section of society are suffering. The nation is going through turbulent times under PM Modi,” she said.
The UPA chairperson urged the crowd to “pledge commitment to the cause of saving our nation from the violent and hateful forces that are destroying India.”
