New Delhi: Just a few days are left for polling in Rajasthan Assembly Elections and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a verbal rampage against Congress and its top leaders.
Today at a rally in Sumerpur, PM Modi slammed Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi over the extradition of Christian Michel, the alleged middleman in the AgustaWestland chopper deal who was brought to New Delhi on Tuesday night.

PM Modi said, “The VVIP helicopter scam took place during the UPA rule. We investigated the scam after coming to power and caught one of the accused. You must have read in the papers that the government has got him extradited from Dubai. Who knows what secrets will tumble out once he starts talking?”

India is investigating charges that Michel, a British national, organized bribes to push for Rs. 3,600-crore contract for VVIP helicopters to be purchased for top Indian leaders.
Christian Michel was brought to New Delhi in a special aircraft late Tuesday night.
The AgustaWestland case involves the deal to purchase 12 luxury helicopters for use by the President, Prime Minister, former prime ministers and other VIPs, when Manmohan Singh’s Congress-led coalition was in power.
Rahul Gandhi goof-up
Hitting out at Rahul Gandhi over his slip of tongue when he incorrectly pronounced a development scheme implemented by former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Modi said, “Congress President does not even know the names of his own party leaders. He did not even know the name of a very popular farmer and jat leader in Congress, late Kumbharam ji. He called him ‘Kumbhakaran’. You can imagine what such people will do when in power.”
