Robert Vadra summoned by ED in land deal case
New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate on Friday summoned Robert Vadra in a land deal case.
Vadra, who is son in law of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi has been summoned as per the reports of loan given to him by a company at a higher cost to buy land in Bikaner.
This loan may have helped Vadra to evade taxes and got a huge relief from Income Tax Settlement Commission.
Gurugram Land scam case against Vadra
Earlier in September, The Gurugram Police lodged FIR against Robert Vadra and former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in connection with a land fraud case.
The FIR has been registered in Kherki Daula police station of Haryana. Vadra and Hooda, both have been booked under under Sections 120B (criminal conspiracy), 420 (fraud), 467 (forgery of valuable security), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), 471 (using as genuine a forged document).
The cases were related to the fraudulent land transaction by Sky Light Hospitality Private Limited, owned by Robert Vadra.
