Fire in top floors of Mumbai high-rise, Deepika Padukone tweets ‘she is safe’
Mumbai: Fire broke out at top two floors of 33-storey Beaumonde building in Worli. Images showed smoke bellowing out of the top floors of the ‘B’ wing of the building.
As per latest reports, more than 90 people have been rescued. The blaze was upgraded to Level 3 by the fire department.
Ten fire engines, two quick response vehicles, five jumbo tankers and an ambulance at the spot.
No reports of anyone trapped or any casualties have been reported.

Actress Deepika Padukone’s apartment is on the 26th floor or the same building.
The actor also tweeted saying, “I am safe.Thank You everyone.Let us pray for our firefighters who are at site risking their lives…(sic).”
