New Delhi: Delhi Police registered a case against a customer Tarun Suri after he allegedly assaulted two Blinkit delivery persons. As per the police statement, the two delivery persons named Aman & Gurpal Singh were found physically assaulted by Tarun Suri, who ordered groceries. Meanwhile, the accused has also alleged that the delivery persons misbehaved with a woman in his house.
According to delivery person Gurpal, the accused misbehaved with them for not having money change and their argument turned into a physical assault. The incident reportedly happened in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden and police have registered an FIR in the case.
Their argument later turned into a physical assault on the delivery boys. The alleged person also levelled allegations of misbehaving with the woman member in the house. Probe has been initiated: Delhi Police

The police received the information about the physical assault and rushed to the location. A senior police official said that as per Gurpal’s statement, Tarun Suri opened the door and started misbehaving with them over a change of money. They went there to deliver groceries worth Rs 1655.
Delhi Police said that they have registered a case under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and are currently investigating the case. The police have assured that they will take everything into account and will take necessary action.
The incidents of assault against delivery persons and cab drivers have made it to the headlines time and again and a lack of sensitivity towards a job and aggression can be pointed out as a few causes of the same.
