New Delhi: PM Modi, who was attending the BJP Parliamentary Party meet in New Delhi, expressed his anger over the Akash Vijayvargiya incident.

Prime Minister condemned the June 26 incident where BJP MLA Akash Vijayvargiya beat up a civic official with a cricket bat in Indore. Akash Vijayvargiya is Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya’s son.

The prime minister said he did not care whose son Akash is. “I don’t care whose son was behind the incident, it was completely unwarranted and not acceptable,” PM Modi told BJP MPs in the party meeting.

PM also said that those who had started firing guns when Akash Vijayvargiya was released from jail should be sacked from the party.
