New Delhi: Sushmita Sinha, an Instagrammer is being heavily trolled for sharing a video where she is purportedly using Haritalika Teej Vrat Katha as toilet paper. On her insta story she put out a video in Hindi saying, “I don’t have any use for this booklet now, so I am thinking of using it as a tissue paper or toilet paper, what do you think?” She is being trolled for ‘disrespecting a Hindu festival’. Teej is a festival celebrated by women in many parts of India and Nepal to welcome the rain gods with dance and prayers. The booklet Sushmita Sinha is showing in the insta story used for reading out Teej katha.
