Assam woman Vandana Kalita kills her husband, Mother-in-law, chops their body, hides body parts in fridge, and dumps them in Meghalaya’s Cherrapunji

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a woman from Assam allegedly killed her husband and mother-in-law, and chopped their bodies into pieces and stored them inside a fridge in Assam’s Noonmati.

According to reports, the woman identified as Vandana Kalita was in an extramarital affair.

Three days after killing and chopping their body parts, the woman and her lover dumped them in the neighboring state of Meghalaya’s Cherrapunji.

The police officer said the Vandana Kalita led a police team from Assam to Meghalaya’s Cherrapunji where she and her lover had dumped the mother and son’s body parts.

The Police investigating the case have recovered the body parts.

The Officer said Vandana killed her husband and her mother-in-law before chopping the bodies into pieces and then storing them inside a fridge.

The whole incident has come to the limelight after seven months. According to reports, the incident reportedly took place in August last year.

The other two accused who helped Vandana in committing the crime have been identified as Arup Deka and Dhanjit Deka.

Meanwhile, Vandana Kalita has confessed to committing the crime, said Assam police.

This incident comes after the chilling murder of Shraddha Walkar by her boyfriend Aaftab Poonawala in Delhi last year. Aftab had killed his girlfriend and cut her body into 30 pieces and then stored them inside a fridge.

Recently, Nikki Yadav was also killed by her partner Sahil Gehlot and her body was stored inside a fridge at his restaurant in Delhi.
