New Delhi: India is a nation of 1.4 billion people, out of which at least 1.3 billion simply love the sport of cricket. That is why cricket is not just a game but a religion in India.

Interestingly, despite being in deep love with the game, people often go for different professions as their career, as it only has a place to fulfil the dreams of a limited number of people.

However, despite going for other professions in their career, people’s love for cricket always stays with them, and whenever they get a chance to hold the bat or ball, they do not hesitate for a second and try to make the most of the presented opportunity.

One such opportunity was presented in front of a BJD MLA Bhupendra Singh when the politician was invited to inaugurate a local sports event.

Mr Singh could not hold in his love for cricket, as being surrounded by his supporters, he decided to step onto the pitch and try his hand at batting.

However, the desire soon turned out to be a wrong decision, as Mr Singh got himself severely injured while trying to hit the ball.

Mr Singh fell on his face while trying to play a pull shot and got himself a direct ticket to the hospital.
