New Delhi: As electioneering gathers steam in poll-bound Assam, a pre-poll survey on Monday predicted that BJP-led NDA is set to return to power but with less mandate than last term.
According to Times Now and C-Voter survey, BJP-led NDA is seen returning to power in the state but with lesser clout as Congress-led UPA is seen consolidating its support base and witnessing a rise in its vote percentage.
Despite Central leaders visiting the poll-bound state and mobilisation of cadre with emotive issues like Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 and National Register of Citizens (NRC), the electorate has moved away from saffron alliance to some extent.
