Bulli Bai mastermind Shweta Singh-Here is all you need to know about the 18-year-old

New Delhi: Bulli Bai mastermind Shweta Singh was held by Mumbai Police on Tuesday from Uttrakhand. She was held after the arrest of 21-year-old engineering student Vishal Kumar from Bengaluru.

On Monday, Mumbai Police  had filed an FIR against unknown people based on complaints women from a particular community were being targeted and pictures of women were uploaded for auction on the ‘Bulli Bai’ application hosted on the GitHub platform.

A case was registered against the ‘Bulli Bai’ app developers and Twitter handles on Sunday by the West Mumbai Cyber Police for promoting such act.

# She had lost both her parents, her father died due to covid-19 last year and on 2011 she had lost her mother to cancer.

# Shweta is the second among the three sister and has one brother.

# The 18-year old has cleared her class 12 examination.

# The four siblings survive on Rs 3 thousand that they get from Uttrakhand government.

# She was using fake Twitter handle named as- JattKhalsa07. This particular Twitter handle was being used for uploading hate posts and objectionable photos and comments.

# According to reports, she was allegedly working on the instructions that was given to her by her friend based in Nepal.

# It was also revealed that a Nepal national, identified as Giyou, was guiding her to do so.

The main accused, Shweta Singh’s name was revealed by the 21-year-old engineering student who was arrested in Bengaluru. He said that she was in touch will all the people who were involved in this activity.

According to reports, 21-yera-old, Vishal’s role was to edit pictures of women and then upload them on the app.

Meanwhile, Shweta Singh will be brought to Mumbai today and is likely to be produced in a magistrate’s court.
