Can’t share pain of coalition govt which I face daily: Kumaraswamy’s candid admission at public rally

New Delhi: Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has time and again made public his helplessness of running the coalition government with Congress.

His candid admission of running a ‘troublesome alliance’ has often left his party JD (S) and the Congress red-faced but there seems to no end to the coalition pangs.

At a public rally today, Kumaraswamy openly admitted that his government continues to be at the mercy of alliance partner and on daily basis, he has to face many challenges of running the coalition government.

“I cannot tell what problems I am facing openly. I am the chief minister now but I cannot share my pain that I face every day with you,” Karnataka Chief Minister told the public rally.

“On one hand I have ensure this government functions peacefully and on the other I’ll have to keep assuring our bureaucrats that this government is safe”, said Kumaraswamy.

What Kumaraswamy said at public rally:

You don’t need to have any doubts. You have reposed confidence in me and voted me to power. I cannot tell what problems I am facing openly. I am the chief minister now but I cannot share my pain that I face every day with you. If I do then they will question me as to how will I be able to solve the problems faced by people. On one hand, I have to ensure this government functions peacefully and on the other I’ll have to keep assuring our bureaucrats that this government is safe. I have all these responsibilities.
